Strategy, Web, Mobile, UI/UX

GitHub is a version control software that allows developers, designers, and other team members to upload, change, and collaborate on various files. Current problems with GitHub’s design include an inconsistent identity across platforms, difficulty in clarity for new users, and the necessity to work across platforms to achieve singular goals. The redesign aims to fix these problems and make GitHub more accessible through both strategy and design.

This was one of the most cumbersome and in-depth UI/UX projects I’ve worked on given the several components. Iterations and user testing really helped me to understand how to identify pain points in a design and how to use design thinking to overcome these obstacles. This project also served as a means to really jumpstart my interest in motion design and animation within UI/UX.
