Teamfight Tactics: Secrets of the Shallows

THE CHALLENGE

We were asked to create a minigame experience for Teamfight Tactics within the League of Legends desktop and mobile client. The goal was to bring to life the in-game world of the Dragonlands, and entice players in an all-new pirate ship adventure for the anticipated Set 7.5 release.

DESIGN SOLVE

Inspired by sea shanties and adorable chibi penguins, we created an immersive hub experience with a strong thematic wrapper. We guided our client through the creation of a streamlined user journey, and provided a strong thematic wrapper to inform the UX. Jewel shapes and tattered edges bring the exploration thematic to life in even the tiniest of details.
